The Prophetic Significance of the Four Colours of Islam
If you saw my videos on the 153 fish you will know that in my opinion the 153 fish represent the nations of the world. Two thirds of them represent the Sheep Nations that are part of God’s perfect plan and have an eternal future. One third of them represent the Goat Nations that are not part of God’s plan and do not have a future. However, it is of course possible for individuals from those nations to accept Jesus as their saviour and be saved. Matthew chapter 25 talks about the sheep and goat judgement of the nations
[Mat 25:32, 40 KJV] 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth [his] sheep from the goats: ... 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done [it] unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done [it] unto me.
Nations will be judged according to how they treated the brethren of Jesus. In the natural His brethren are the Jews and spiritually they are all who call Him Lord.
The 51 Goat nations are the 12 nations descended from Canaan, the 13 nations descended from Abraham’s concubine Hagar and the 26 nations descended from the Seirites who were a Canaanite people who intermingled with some of Esau’s descendants. All these nations are listed in the bible but they were born outside God’s perfect will. In modern times these nations now correspond with the nations which are Islamic states.

For now I want to highlight how Islam has developed since the seventh century and its prophetic significance. Islam is different from other major world religions in that it developed in opposition to Christianity and in particular it refutes the doctrine that Jesus is the Son of God. This is the specific point on which Satan tempted Jesus.
[Mat 4:3 KJV] 3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.
Muhammad was born c. 570 CE in Mecca. When he was 40 he said he was visited by the angel Gabriel in a mountain cave that he visited. He reported receiving revelations from God. He started preaching and gaining followers, eventually amassing an army to defeat those who opposed him. The Muslim conquests that occurred following the death of Muhammad in 632 CE led to the creation of the caliphates, expanding over a vast geographical area. Islam is still growing in numbers today. It would have overwhelmed Europe if it hadn’t been for resistance from Christian kingdoms.

In France Charles Martel led the Frankish and Aquitanian forces to victory over the invading Islamic Umayyad forces at the Battle of Tours. This curtailed the spread of Islam in Western Europe.
In Spain the Reconquista (Reconquest) was the process by which the Catholic Kingdoms of northern Spain eventually managed to succeed in defeating and conquering the Muslim states of the Iberian Peninsula between the 11th and 15th centuries.
Greece was not able to free itself from the Ottoman empire until the 19th Century. The Greek War of Independence was a successful war of independence by Greek revolutionaries against the Ottoman Empire between 1821 and 1829.
The Ottoman empire itself did not collapse until the 20th century when it finally dissolved after the First World War when it lost territories in North Africa and the Middle East.

The British Empire often found itself opposed to Islamic forces in various parts of the globe. One interesting aspect of this is the colours used by Islamic forces. In 1898 The Battle of Omdurman was fought between a British–Egyptian expeditionary force commanded by British Commander-in-Chief major general Horatio Herbert Kitchener and a Sudanese army of the Mahdist State, led by Abdallahi ibn Muhammad (the Khalifa). The Mahdists, members of a branch of Islam known as Sufism, were known to the British as Dervishes. When the Dervishes attacked Kitchener’s position they advanced in four roughly equal columns each led by a coloured flag; green, white, red and black. Green, white, red and black are the traditional colours of Islam but what is their significance? One clue comes from a verse by 14th century Arab poet Safi al-Din al-Hilli:
"White are our acts, black our battles, green our fields, and red our swords."
Notice how these colours correspond with the four horsemen of the apocalypse in Revelation 6:1-8. Islam is a religion of conquest and in Revelation 6:8 it says
[Rev 6:8 KJV] …….And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Islam will be able to perform this act of conquest after the rapture of the church when God’s restraining hand is removed. Currently its advance has been checked by the presence of Christianity on the earth. Most countries that have red, white, black, and green flags are Muslim and/or Arabic, except for one – Kenya. There are 57 Muslim countries in the world, according to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation’s (OIC) member list. Among these, 49 countries have a Muslim-majority population. These nations roughly correspond to the 51 Goat nations that I mentioned at the start. Some of them may reject Islam before the time of the end. One that I expect to rebel against Islam is Iran because it is basically an Indo-European nation and Persian is an Indo-European language. Consequently they are not a nation that is descended from Canaanites, Seirites or from Hagar.
There is no reason why people living in Goat nations can't be saved as individuals.God’s grace is now extended to everyone who believes in Jesus. I would not expect Islam to expand again geographically in these last days. I believe that many Muslims will to turn to Jesus as the gospel is now freely available on the internet throughout the world. After the rapture of the church Islam will have a resurgence in the first half of the Tribulation period after the church has been removed from the earth as the four horsemen of Revelation 6 seem to be represented in the Islamic colours.

What is Going to Happen in the Short Term.

I think that now is a good time to try and pull together some of the threads of bible prophecy that have been emphasised by Prophecy Workshop. Everything that I am about to say can be checked out in greater detail on the website
Firstly the world is on a timetable that can’t be changed. 6,000 years of history followed by the 1,000 year millennial period when Jesus will rule on earth. We are currently somewhere near the end of the 6,000 years. Before Jesus returns the world will go through the 7 year tribulation period which is a time of God’s wrath on the earth. Before this happens the members of the church on the earth, which is not appointed to God’s wrath, will be removed from the earth to be united with the other members of the church who have gone before. In other words the church age, the age of grace which we are in now will end and then the Tribulation will start.
We are currently in a time, since 1948, when the nation of Israel exists at the same time as the church exists. This only happened once before in history, from the birth of the church at Pentecost to the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD. The nation of Israel will never be moved again. In the short term its future is good.
From a bible point of view God’s timetable is based upon the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. This is something that writers such as Sir Robert Anderson and Grattan Guinness both realised back in the 19th Century. All bible believers knew, and have always known since people were able to read the bible in their own language, that the Jews would be restored to their own country. The only question was when.
Now we know that the date was May 14th 1948. Since then the state of Israel has developed at a spectacular rate despite all the attempts of its moslem neighbours to destroy it.
Israel will defeat Hamas, Hezbollah and all the other neighbouring Islamic groups that are opposing it at the moment. Psalm 83 shows clearly that Israel will defeat the plans of the enemies on its immediate borders.
Another aspect of this is the different groupings of the nations around the world. I have tried to show in the videos I have done on the 153 fish that the world is divided into 153 people groups. Two thirds of the nations are destined to be sheep nations and have an eternal future. One third of the nations are goat nations. These are the nations descended from Abraham’s concubines, Hagar and Keturah, and also the nations descended from Seir the Horite who intermarried with the descendants of Esau, the Edomites. . Abraham. All these 51 goat nations are in some way descended from Abraham, the father of nations, but they were never part of God’s perfect plan. The modern day equivalent of these nations are the Islamic nations of Africa,and the Middle East.
The other alignment of nations is the one in Ezekiel 38 and 39. Here we have the Gog/Magog alliance of nations which is Russia, Turkey and Iran. We also have the Tarshish nations which are Britain and her ex colonies who are allied with Sheba and Dedan which are the Sunni Arab nations of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Arab states. We can see currently how Britain and the USA are increasing their defense ties with this region.

As I explained at the outbreak of the Ukraine war, Putin will fail in his current campaign. The day will come when Russia does push through this region in an attempt to turn south and invade Israel. However the time is not yet. Satan knows his time is short so he is always trying to speed up his plans but he can’t operate outside of God’s timetable. The Gog/Magog invasion of Israel prophesied in Ezekiel will happen at a time when Israel feels secure and has let down her defences. Currently Israel feels insecure and is armed to the teeth.
So, the short term future is good for Israel and her allies. The enemies of Israel will be defeated and there will be a time of growth and prosperity for Israel, the Tarshish nations and the Arab Gulf states. The bible doesn’t explain how long this situation will last.
At some point in the future all this will change but at the moment I am just talking about the short term, the next few years. Things will apparently get better but ultimately the time of God’s wrath is just around the corner. Now is still the time of God’s grace. If you haven’t given your life to Jesus Christ now is the time to do it. When this church age of grace is over, it is over for good. The world will revert to how it was before the church was born at Pentecost. God’s restraining hand will be lifted and evil will be able to flourish as never before.

The further we get from the present the harder it is to be sure about what is going to happen next. Bible prophecy is not about telling the future it’s more about interpreting events in the the light of the bible. In the previous video I set out what I think is going to happen in the short term. Things will appear to get better. Israel and its allies will prosper. It will defeat its immediate enemies and there will be a time of peace and prosperity.
However, this situation is not permanent. Just at the time when Israel feel secure Russia, Iran and Turkey will form an alliance to invade Israel. The allies of Israel are: the Tarshish nations (Britain, her ex-colonies and the USA), Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. These will all protest but be powerless to stop the invasion.
This is a time of God’s judgement on the enemies of Israel. He will destroy them himself on the mountains of Israel.
[Eze 39:4 KJV] 4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that [is] with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and [to] the beasts of the field to be devoured.
At this point many nations will learn that the Lord is God.

[Eze 38:23 KJV] 23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] the LORD.
There will then be a seven month interlude when Israel clears up the debris from the destruction that the Lord has wrought upon its enemies. In total there will be seven years during which the Israelites will use the weapons of their enemies for fuel
[Eze 39:9 KJV] 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire seven years:
The question asked by many is why a modern army would be fighting with such antiquated weapons. The answer is that the words which are used throughout the bible to represent different forms of weaponry are often prophetic words. Here are contemporary equivalents for these words:

All these weapons will be burnt “with fire”. The sense is that the burning of the weapons will produce fuel/energy so that the Israelis won’t need to burn their own resources.
[Eze 39:10 KJV] 10 So that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down [any] out of the forests; for they shall burn the weapons with fire: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD.
Israel is a leader in waste to energy recycling and I believe they will find a way to recycle this massive stockpile of weapons to create free energy for their nation.
During this seven year period when Gog has been defeated, the huge pile of dead has been cleansed from the land and Israel is at peace once more, many will turn to the Lord. The terrible destruction wrought upon the enemies of Israel will be a sign to Israel and the unbelieving world.
[Eze 39:22-23 KJV] 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I [am] the LORD their God from that day and forward. 23 And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

It is interesting that when Israel dwelt securely it did not recognise the Lord.
[Eze 39:26 KJV] 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made [them] afraid.
This amazing act of deliverance by the sovereign hand of God is the final demonstration of God’s power and reality before the catching away of the saints and the end of the church age. Whoever remains in the world, jew or gentile, who does not believe in Jesus will not be caught away in the Rapture but will remain on earth to face the wrath of God.

We’ve looked at the short and medium term, now we are going to look at the long term. After Israel has defeated its enemies and God has destroyed the Gog/Magog alliance on the hills of Israel it seems that things are set fair for Israel. There can now be no more doubt that Jesus Christ is the Jewish Messiah and saviour of the world. However, there are many Jews and gentiles who still refuse to accept that Jesus is Lord.
The Israelis spend seven years using the weapons left behind by the Gog/Magog alliance for fuel. At some point after this the rapture will take place. Every adult in the world will have had the opportunity to accept Jesus as their saviour. All those who are not believers will remain on earth when the church is caught away.
God will remove His restraining hand on the earth and Satan will have seven years to unleash evil upon the earth. This is the Tribulation period that we read about in the Book of Revelation. It is the worst time there has ever been on earth. Although all the believers have been removed from the earth many will turn to the Lord during the Tribulation and many will be martyred by the Antichrist for their refusal to take his mark. In my opinion the Tribulation is the seventieth week of the the seventy weeks of Daniel chapter 9. The first 69 weeks ended with the “cutting off” of the Messiah, when Jesus was crucified. Since then we have been in the church age. The final seven weeks are the Time of Jacob’s Trouble which we call the Tribulation, are seven years of God’s wrath upon Israel, and the whole world, for rejecting Jesus. At the end of the Tribulation Jesus returns. Satan is thrown into the bottomless pit and Jesus rules on earth for a thousand years, the period we call The Millennium.

At the start of the millennium there will only believers on earth, those who have come through the Tribulation. As the centuries roll by some of their descendants will once again turn away from the Lord despite the fact that Jesus Himself is ruling from Jerusalem.
At the end of this thousand years Satan is released and he leads a rebellion against Jesus who is in Jerusalem. At this point God calls a halt to history. Satan is thrown into the lake of fire where he joins the Beast and the False Prophet. We then move into the last day of all, Judgement Day. The Books are opened and if anyone does not have their name in the Book of Life they are cast into the Lake of Fire. The bible tells us that people will be judged according to their works. However we already know from the New Testament that no one can save themselves by their good works. If you are watching this video and are not saved you must understand that the only way to be saved is by believing in Jesus Christ. In other words to have your name in the Book of Life you must put your trust in Jesus and not in yourself. Do not be deceived though. You have to believe in your heart, not just say you believe with your mouth.
[Eph 2:8-9 KJV] 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

One thing that interests me is that the nations do continue through the Millennial period and on into the time when God creates a New Heaven and a New Earth. Just as believers have an eternal future so too do the sheep nations have an eternal future.These verses in the Book of Revelation are referring to the New Jerusalem.
[Rev 21:24-26 KJV] 24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Notice that it refers to the nations of them that are saved. The only nations which have an eternal future are Christian nations. The Sheep Nations are nations which accept Jesus as Lord. However, the nations will continue in some form, at least 102 of them will. Every nation is important to God because he created them all. It’s good to love your country and to pray for your nation.
[Psa 67:4 KJV] 4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
